I find myself sitting on my computer - browsing.
I search for jobs, searching for change. I look for vacation spots in hopes of finding inspiration. I research Visa applications because as a 26-year-old; I am eager for a new environment - one without a ceiling.
Coping with my quarter-life crisis, I stumble hard onto these two movies.
Here are two movie recommendations to change your perspective:

1. Into the Wild (2007)
"Into the Wild" is a film adaptation of a non-fiction book by Jon Krakauer chronicling the true story of Christopher McCandless, a young man who left his affluent life behind to live in the Alaskan wilderness. McCandless, under the alias "Alexander Supertramp," embarked on a journey of self-discovery. The movie depicts McCandless's motivations, the challenges he faced, and the profound impact his quest for freedom had on those he encountered along the way.
The movie took me along for the journey, it made me resonate with the main character as he discovers that life's happiness is best shared.

2. The Last 10 Years (2022)
Matsuri Takabayashi learns that she only has 10 years left to live due to an incurable disease. She decides to not dwell on her life and not to fall in love, but she meets Kazuto Manabe at a school reunion. - IMBd Summaries
The movie follows Matsuri's journey after receiving a terminal diagnosis. At the beginning of the movie, she puts on a cold front. It isn't until she meets Kazuto that she starts to feel the weight of her diagnosis. This movie is so real and shows you how precious life is.
